free mobile internet??? by way of skype

i have been coming up with more and more ideas ..... ones that i can not do at the moment.

up until recently i have been using a range of phones all on the Telstra network (lovingly refereed to by some as "Hellstra")
not that great for what i wanted. so i have changed to the "3" network. i picked up the3skype phone for $29 a month. its not a bad phone low res screen and odd-ness but not bad.

i get some HUGE amount of skype calls, and there is no penalty (cost or otherwise) if you go over the MASSIVE limit.

here is it.

maybe it makes sence to you two..... if not dont worry you are not missing much
i will explain it more later, but for the moment the pic should explain alot.

so u have a passion for tv's to be under your controle ???
well this might help

what parts are needed for this ??

Mini Multifunctional Remote Controller Black Price: $2.84 free shipping
5mm IR LED Emitters (20-Pack) Price: $2.93 free shipping
& a mobile phone now this could be old mobile phone or a fake phone ask around get one for free .... i have a box full from some of my more adventures times.

equipment that will needed:
just the basics, soldering iron, solder, wire ..... basic tools

the pictures should speek for them selves

crack open the remote and desolder the old IR leds

<img src="http://i82.photobucket.com/albums/j262/lukeoock459/DSC00140.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"width="400" height="300>

grab some leds and solder them in parallel i started with only 2 leds but i later upgraded to 4 leds to boost the range
then atach them to your remote.

now take your phone (fake or not) and empty it out to make room to the remote and your leds

install it all ( this will be different for each phone ) i used lots of hot melt glue

now take your stealthy creation out into the wild and have fun
this has been very popular and many friends have asked me to make one for them.
